Does Amberen truly offer a “free trial”?

Free trial offer for Amberens product for menopause

Amberen is serious about their “risk free trial”; but if you’re like me, you probably roll your eyes every time you hear that phrase. Some products that offer free trials have small print legalese and lots of hoops to jump through. In the end, “free” can turn out to be not so free after all. So I looked…. looked hard!

I expected Amberen’s risk free trial to make my eyes roll, but I was pleased with what I found. They don’t expect you to want your money back; but if you do, they’ll make good on their money-back promise.

Even Amberen has a few hoops

Free trial of AmberenTo properly evaluate Amberen and get a risk free trial, you must purchase the recommended 90 day supplement course. Also they can’t allow more than one refund per household or reimburse shipping. That makes sense. If Amberen did either of those things, they couldn’t afford to stay in business very long; and menopause sufferers would have to go back to using stuff that doesn’t work.

Here are a few more things to keep in mind:

  • The 30 day free trial clock starts ticking the day you purchase Amberen.
  • You must return two unopened, shrink-wrapped packages, but you won’t be charged for the 30 days of supplements you used. (an almost 50 dollar retail value)

Shipping a package doesn’t have to be complicated

Returning a package might seem complicated to someone who doesn’t have a lot of shipping experience. Amberen offers a few tips to help you keep it simple:

  • Use the return label they send with your order. It already has all the shipping information on it (I thought that was nice).
  • Hold onto the original shipping package just in case. You can use it to return your unopened Amberen (another convenient way I thought to make this task easier).
  • Ask for a tracking or delivery confirmation number to make sure your package goes where it’s supposed to go. This will save you headaches down the road… trust me!

What did I think?

I am rather pleased on the way the company handles their “free trial”. They are not hiding anything…. in fact, it was one of the main reasons I chose to try Amberen.
