Menopause Amberen Reviews: My Experience With This 100% All-Natural Remedy
As one of the 70% of women ages 35-65 struggling with menopausal symptoms, I wondered if my life would ever be normal again. I struggled with constant hot flashes, mood swings, night sweats, irritability and irregular periods. Loss of hormonal balance is what my doctor credited the origins of these persistent symptoms. With my symptoms ranging from mild to unbearable, I knew that it was time to get help, and I needed it fast! I heard about natural remedies for menopausal symptoms and the positive talk about Amberen, so I began my quest for knowledge on the product. What I found inspired me to write this review of Amberen.
Menopause, Amberen And Others
I had often asked myself, do supplements work for menopause? I felt like I was always tired. I have children to care for, so it was important to me to improve my day-to-day life. The alternative that my doctor pushed upon me was the Hormonal Replacement Therapy, or HRT. One aspect that discouraged me from HRT was that the drugs used are synthetic. Not only that, but they fail to be effective for many women. Finally, I looked at the health dangers involved with HRT. For me, this is what ultimately sealed the deal. HRT comes with serious complications, such as ovarian cancer, heart attacks, breast cancer and strokes, and since it only reduces the risks of menopause, I felt that there had to be a safer, more effective and natural alternative. So I researched my options by reading over some menopause articles by Ellen Paige and found some answers.
Upon First Glance
The first thing that caught my attention was the free trial that Amberen offered. I had 30 days to decide if the product was right for me. I thought that said a lot about the confidence that the company had in their product. The next thing that I noticed was that it was FDA approved and all natural.
Clinical Trials On Amberen
During my quest for facts on finding natural remedies for menopause, I learned that Amberen was tested on 32 menopausal women during a 5-year trial. Amberen alleviated the symptoms and there were no side effects. During my extensive research, I also found that the product was tested using randomized, placebo controlled, double blind and cross over clinical trials. I was amazed and convinced that Amberen was right for me after reading all the extensive information available.
Amberen And Menopause Supplements
I ordered my free trial with great hopes. I reviewed the additional information provided and then began using Amberen immediately. You have to determine your dosage based on whether your menopausal symptoms are severe or moderate. Mine were severe, so I took the twice per day dosage, as opposed to the once per day dosage for moderate symptoms. You have to take the pills after breakfast and you must continue the course if you want Amberen to work. I followed the instructions to the “T”. I was desperate to restore my mind and my body back to at least a somewhat normal state again.
My Results With Menopausal Symptoms
Deep in my heart, I wanted immediate results, even though the instructions said that it takes 90 days. I took my two pills directly after breakfast, as directed, but I did not see results for a while and started to get a little worried. I had even called their free nurse-assisted customer care line twice for support. I was amazed to find out this was available to me even under my “free trial” period, so I took full advantage of it. The nurses that I talked to were very helpful in answering my questions and gave me the reassurance that I needed to continue onward with Amberen.
As I approached the end of the first two weeks of my trial, I finally started seeing results. I experienced 4 consecutive days without hot flashes, irritability or mood swings. These were issues that I had been enduring on a daily basis, which meant that my family was enduring them as well, so their disappearance made a huge difference. Yet, I think the biggest benefit was that I actually felt alive again. I had been so miserably tired for so long and when I realized I had the energy to run around with my kids again, I couldn’t hold back the tears. I promise you, those tears were not part of a mood swing, but pure gratitude, because this is exactly what I wanted to achieve for me and my family.
I proceeded to purchase the 90-day supply after my success with the 30-day free trial (btw… I did some research and found that VitaSprings.com is the best place to purchase Amberen. I was lucky enough to find a Lifetime Coupon Code THX4OFF80 for $4 off AND free shipping on all my future orders! Amberen’s website charges $7.99 shipping on each order… you still have a 30-day return policy too, so no worries there… it’s a no-brainer ladies)
Now, I still did experience a few mood swings and hot flashes, but there were not nearly as many of these episodes as before I used Amberen.
In addition, the product requires a 90-day break before continuing the course. I was a little concerned that those horrible symptoms would return before I started the next course, but nearly three months into the break, I still felt great. I still had the energy to do my day-to-day things, like keeping up with the kids and maintaining my household, and I felt amazing. Before I found Amberen, I never would have thought that I would feel like my old self ever again. Thanks to Amberen, I have my life back.
I must say though this product apparently is not effective for everyone. My friends at work had tried Amberen with no positive results what-so-ever. The ones who just had problems coping with hot flashes due to menopause where using “Natural Relief For Women” and were very happy with the product. After hearing their success stories… if battling with hot flashes is your issue, I highly recommend that product!
Amberen Menopause Review – My Final Thoughts
I am convinced that Amberen is the real thing (for me anyway). It made a significant difference in my menopausal symptoms. I will continue the treatment, and I suggest trying several of the natural supplements now available on the market today. With these companies offering 90 free trials to see if they work for you…why not???

I too experience the symptoms of menopause however not so severe that it controls my life. Mine seem to come in waves like for weeks I’ll have the night sweats which I treat using Amberen (that works wonders, btw) and that interrupts my sleep which then makes me so tired the next day after I get home from work I can’t hardly enjoy my evening. Then a few weeks will go by and these symptoms are nearly gone. I guess I’m lucky for that so I like the idea of taking an all natural treatment it seems safer than the prescribed medications for which I have to go through the medical community to obtain. I’m much more comfortable being able to treat my symptoms by purchasing this product on line and giving it a whirl. Next time I’m using the coupon code you mentioned and ordering on VitaSprings.com. Thanks for the great find!
I have personally not used it but my best friend has and was very happy with Amberen. I hope and pray when menopause hits me it wont be as bad as the horror stories I always hear. If it does though, I know what to do.
I use Amberen. So far I’m very excited with the product and my results. I do have to mention though, I take slightly more than what they say. Being all natural, I’m ok with that. Also thanks for the great find at VitaSprings.com.
The only symptoms I had were sweating in the middle of the night. I’m in the middle of my “off” stage of taking Amberen right now and so far no sweating at all. I love the stuff!
I can’t thank you enough for writing this post and the coupon code you mentioned! Been on Amberen for about 2 weeks now and am seeing results! I’m a little nervous when it’s time to come off my dosage but as of right now I’m very impressed.
I did a lot of reading on this product before I tried it. I am a premenopause female adult between the age of 45-50 who is normally healthy other than unfortunately started menopause at a younger age then most, I decided to give it a try.
I wish I hadn’t, this is an expensive product. I used it for three months as instructed and it did absolutely nothing for me, not one change. I was not about to buy another expensive 3 mos. supply when I found a simple inexpensive supplemental premenopause/memopause mild proestrogen cream works so much better than so many products I’ve tried, including this one.
I’m embarrassed to ask this but does Amberen work for men? Particularly on night sweats? Seems like a great product.
I love this product! Will there be anything else in the line coming out soon?
I would highly suggest Natural Relief then Sgamsby. I personally have friends who swear by the product! And I’m also seeing comments here also with happy customers. They also offer a 90 day free trial.
I just purchased. Let’s see what happens. I can relate to your story so much. PLEASE let this work for me! LOL!
I just wanted to return and give my 2 cents. I have been on Amberen for about a month now. Ladies, this really does work, at least for me it is. Mood swings was the problem with me. Where I see the change in me most is when I wake up in the morning. I can’t describe it but before in the morning I just always had this weird, uneasy feeling. It is gone now and I love it. I just recommended Amberen to my 2 best friends which reminded me to come back here and post a comment. I guess I’m kinda lucky I don’t get those nasty menopause symptoms like my 2 friends do, but all the same. What I did have is gone now.
The fact that this product gave me a free trial and if I didn’t see results after the first bottle I could return it. I thought what do I have to lose but the S&H fee. Well it was enough for me to give it a try and I have never been more pleased with the results so far.
I’ll give it a whirl. I hope it helps with my symptoms. I’m at wits end!
I’ve been experiencing menopause symptoms for about a year now and it’s really getting worse. I don’t know what the norm is or if I’m experiencing severe symptoms but I was a nervous wreck til I heard commercials on the radio driving to and from work. I decided to try Amberen and I have everything good to say about it. It relieved my severe symptoms and I’m able to get a good night rest which can make all the difference during your waking hours. Mark me down as a very happy consumer of Amberen.
I ordered Amberen about 2 weeks ago. I’ve been going through menopause 3 years. I took the pills and they worked fine for three days but that’s it. I increased my dosage to twice a day and still no relief. The night sweats returned and the hot flashes continue throughout the day. I must be full-blown or something but I’m one person they are not working for. I will be returning my excess boxes untouched.
LOVE AMBEREN! I am almost at the end of 60 days & just ordered another month’s supply. Words can not begin to say how much better I feel! Before Amberen, my main symptoms were; brain fog, mild depression, & waking up after only 2 hours of sleep, then tossing & turning the rest of the night. I was always SO tired! I started to feel better after the 2nd week of taking it. No more fog, no depression & I’m sleeping through the night! I honestly feel as good (if not better) than I did in my 20’s & 30’s!
Don’t waste your money!!! Amberen does nothing and if the unopened boxes aren’t returned within 30 days you won’t get a full refund. Not false advertising, just tricky. Read the fine print – and don’t buy it.
Thanks very much on sharing your experience with Amberen and telling us about VitaSprings.com and the lifetime coupon code. I was very reluctant to try it but after reading your story I feel much better in giving it a shot. This will be the first time ever buying something for my health online but your giving me hope! Thanks so much!
I have never tried Natural Relief ladies and have no reason to. I too am very happy with the results from Amberen. Just my two cents!
I was having hot flashes so bad..up to 16 times a day..knowing I couldnt take hormones due to breast cancer in the family..I started using amberen..noticed it helping in the first month..Im on the break ready to order my second round…I stopped having periods at the time..but since taking I restarted having menses..but I know that just doing what it says it will do…I have the sold the idea to take to several friends…also..Im nurse..and this stuff works…
Thanks so much for your input. I just ordered and hoping for results as you had.
this post is very usefull thx!
In response to Leveells comment, Hi Leevell,
Amberen is designed to retune your body to balance the levels of your own natural hormones and this process can take up to 90 days to occur. We must remember menopause is a complicated process, this process is delicate and takes time. Response varies from person to person. Many factors influence this such as: How long have you been menopausal? Were you taking HRT’s ? Bio-identicals? Do you have any thyroid issues? May I suggest you call their offices and speak with a licensed nurse, to help in determining what may have caused the delayed response in your case? I found their nursing department to be quite helpful. I think they may be able to assist you in finding a regimen that will give you relief from your menopausal symptoms.
I only want to say one thing that it does nothing for vaginal dryness. Other than I still expierence some hot flashes and some night sweats I am happy to have found amberen,
amazing stuff thanx
I have had problems 2 months after taking these pills. Extreme itchiness. Once I stopped the problem went away. Emailed the company, they simply didn’t care. They wrote me back with some pre-written script. I am upset. This is something that was going in my body, and they were unconcerned that I had problems. Very upset with how this was handled. It’s all about MONEY!
I’m sorry you were not helped by Amberen. It just doesn’t work for every women out their I guess. Did you try Natural Relief? I would try their product. They offer a trial basis too. I never used it but I have heard many good things about it from my friends. Good luck!!
I am 53 and I went through menopause about 4 years ago. I know this sounds odd but I don’t really have hot flashes much nor night sweats….But I have gained weight. I am an instructor for Operation Boot Camp and the weight gain at the belly is still hanging on. I also have brain fog and forget words. Most of the replies have talked about hot flashes. Has anyone seen a change in their weight gain with Amberen?
amazing stuff thanx
thanks !! very helpful post!
What about the physical problems of menopause such as kidney infections and thinning of the uteral lining? I was having bladder/kidney infections left and right until I began 1 gm of Premarin vaginal cream. After seven months -my OBGYN is taking me off because of side effects and she’s recommending Amberen instead. Will it also help with kidneys and the physical problems?
Hi Melody..
I would definitely call Amberen’s hotline. Several of my friends had similar questions such as yours and were very pleased with their knowledge and support they received.
Thank you so much for providing this info! I was trying to find something natural to take for my menopausal symptoms due to breast cancer running in my family. I think this is exactly what I’ve been looking for. Can’t wait to give it a try…keeping my fingers crossed that it will rid me of my crazy mood episodes and restore a bit more normalcy back to my life. I’ll be sure to update you all with my experience!
Hi Melody,
I would call Amberen directly. They have nurses available that would be able to answer any questions and or concerns you may have. I have called and spoken to a nurse and she was very helpfull.
Several ladies have mentioned the inability to take HRT because of an increased risk of breast cancer and breast cancer running in the family. I’m in the same situation. But…doesn’t amberen increase your own estrogen production? Won’t that be just as much of a concern? My sister’s breast cancer was estrogen sensitive and they told her to even stay away from soy – also natural. Just wondered cause I bought the Amberen and still have some concerns.
Reply to Jan:
I started going through menopause a little over a year ago and weight gain (35 pounds in one year!)and mood were my main symptoms. Literally, during the first week of taking Amberen that dark cloud moved out. On week three now, and brighter days are still dawning….AMEN! My children were saying, “That’s all you do is yell.” That’s when I knew I had to do something. I’m keeping my fingers crossed that the weight will start dropping, too. Thank you, Amberen!
I have been taking Amberen for about a years time. I decided to come off of it since I hadnt before. After a month’s time, I had to re-order since the hot flashes, anxiety and lack of libido had returned.
Living with menopause and estrogen dominance is not easy. I took a saliva test (which is suppose to be the most accurate for checking hormones) and my estrogen was low-normal. My period came (after 2 years of not having a period) and it was decided that low-normal was normal for me and I am just on bio-identical progesterone. And feeling great. Others did not work for me because of the estrogen I think. I will start Amberen in a few days.
My mum suffers from the menopause terribly and has done for years. I don’t like to see her like this because she is tired and irritable all the time. She has tried so many herbal remedies are you saying that this will definitely help her. I think I might get her some and report back in 90 days to let you know the results. Thanks for a great post
I just wanted to let women know going through menopause, it is a difficult transition. Amberern does work in the beginning, however, I am on my 4th round, and it does not work as good as it used to. It is much more difficult to lose this unwanted weight.
Just remember if you lose weight, try real hard not to gain it back, because it gets tougher to lose the second time around.
I never had nite sweats or hotflashes, so I cannot tell you how it works on that.
I am 54 and have been on the Amberen regimen for 2 years now. After suffering through waking several times per night feeling like I’m on fire, along with hot flashes, dryness, itchy-ness, and the general feeling of malaise, Amberen has been a Godsend, it allows me to feel like myself again! I have had no side effects. Just for the record I also tried Menozac with no results.
Could you please e-mail me a complete list of ingredients on Amberen. I am going to my GYN on Friday 3/18/11 and would like my doctor to see it before I begin. thank so much. This sounds like the natural wonder vitamin.
Hi Joy!
I wish you and your mother much luck! I truly believe in Amberen as it has helped me tremendously. Please let us all know after 90 days! Thanks!
I went thru the first 3 months and it was the best. Hot flashes completely stopped (I was having 3-4 an hour) and brain fog vanished. No help with weight loss though. Could only go thru a month off without the flashes starting up again. Now in my 2nd 3 months of ‘on’ Amberen, I’m not having much luck. The flashes are coming back and sometimes with a vengence. Hard to sleep again and the brain fog is back. I keep thinking it will get better but so far it’s not.
This is in reply of Debbie’s comment. I would strongly urge you to give Natural Relief a try. I use it and it works for me. Ask my husband! LOL… no more throwing the covers on him in the middle of the night!
I have been taking Amberen for 34 days now. I am in surgical menopause following a total hysterectomy last November. Shortly after surgery I began having intense hot flashes and night sweats along with memory loss, the inability of completing sentences, anxiety attacks, heart palpatations, and irritability. I really thought I was going crazy. I heard about Amberen while listening to the radio on the way to work. I was having yet another intense hot flash and the commercial said, “are you tired of hot flashes?” I got to work and ordered the product. One week into taking two pills a day, the anxiety attacks and heart palpatations went away. I am able to make presentations at work without saying the wrong word or having an extended period of silence when I search my confused mind for the next sentance. I feel “normal” again but….the hot flashes are still there. Women with surgical menopause were not included in the study so I am curious if Amberen will be able to stop the flashing since I do not have ovaries. The relief from the other symptoms are encouraging enough for me to continue through the 90 supply. Here is hoping an end to the hot flashes soon.
I’m 58 and have used Amberin for 90 days now… I felt instant relief in terms of my mood. Happier, less stressed and more my old self. Just wanted ti share. Using your code you found too on my next order, lol!
Lily you got to the right conclusion, Menozac is the one you should consider taking. I taking it for a while and I much more calm and much less sweaty than before.
I am a breast cancer survivor, and my tumor was estrogen fed. Is Amberen recommended for cases like this?
Hi Karen! I would call their number and talk with a nurse Amberen offers.
i’m having a real hard time with my menopause, I’m onlly41 years old and had to have a complete hysterectomy a year and a half ago and it seems like my systems are getting worse, I’ve gained 15 pounds and i know it doesn’t seem like allot but i had gastric bypass three years before that and lost all my weigh. So gaining weigh make my mood swings even worse. I don’t sleep good at night, and i know it’s hard on my family with my moods being they way they are. I’m going to order amberen. Please wish me luck.
After thoroughly reading over all the positive Menozac reviews I could find and then actually getting great results with the supplement. I truly do think they have a great product on their hands.
Thank you so much for the relief. I Did the three months and was thrilled, no hot flashes to speak of. I ran out, my husband also lost his job. I did not want to spend the money, then the hotflashes returned with a vengences. Well needless to say I have to have more!!!! I need to function at work and this really made the difference. Thank you. (Did not find it helpful with many of my other symptoms)
Good luck Lisa! PLEASE let us know if Amberen is working for you!
Thanks for posting this. Just what i was looking for.
I am 41 almost at the age menopause starts. I want to be ready when it comes so read a lot about it. From what i’ve read so far, i like Menozac best! This is what I would choose.
My brother suggested I would possibly like this blog. He used to be totally right. This publish actually made my day. You can not believe simply how much time I had spent for this info! Thank you!
I just purchased this product. I am excited to receive this. I had a hysterectomy about a year and a half ago have my ovaries still but feel like something has been different. I keep telling my doctors that i feel like my hormone levels have decreased and they have tested me and they say I am in the norm. Well I dont feel normal ..insomnia, irritability, weight gain in my mid section which I had never had before, hot flashes and brain fog! I really hope this product works and from your reviews it seems to cover all the symptoms I have! I will keep you posted, Thanks
This actually answered my problem, thank you!
My brother recommended I might like this blog. He was totally right. This post truly made my day. You can not imagine simply how much time I had spent for this information! Thanks!
I’m 60 and went through menopause at age 53. I suffer from 2-3 night sweats every night accompanied by leg pain that lasts a few minutes. Also, I can’t remember when I had a good night’s sleep. Will Amberen help me?
Menozac reduced my night sweats and I helps me sleep better ever since.
I’m not sure with the leg pains you are experiencing but I truly believe it will help with your other symptoms! Please give it a few weeks before you give up hope if you do decide to try it. I have heard from some of my close friends that it took some time to see any results…and then again, had some that see very quick results. Good Luck!
Well, I have heard the commercial on the radio and very curious. I am 42 years old and had a hysterectomy in 2006. Have been takin HRT for a couple of years. Now I am on Estrogel that you rub on the thigh. My libido is not the same, at times still have flashes and tired even though I eat healthy and exercise. That has to be due to my hormone levels being off. I am setting appointment to see my doctor and discuss taking AMBEREN. Someone write on how the sex life is affected when taking AMBEREN is there any change for the better?
Precisely what I was searching for, thankyou for posting .
Someone should give out awards for blog posts. Thanks
After 2 months of Menozac, I still have hot flashes and night sweats that keep me awake!
So Menozac is not working! I want to try Amberen after reading your success with it. I’ll update how it goes. Will definitely use the coupon code you found too.. thanks!
My mom initially had a really bad time with menopause. The flashes, the mood swings, extreme fatigue and joint pains. She finally decided to take Amberen and loves it. Tiredness flew out of the window and she even single-handedly threw a bday party for my son last week! Thanks for the post!
Been tired so long, kids and hubby are frustrated with me. Looking for a fast solution. your article is so inspirational. I have ordered Amberen this week. Let’s hope it keeps up it’s promise and brings life back to fun and frolic!
Do you know exactly how Alladin felt when he found the magic lamp? That’s exactly what I felt with Amberen. Complete Exhilaration. Out of the window flew my symptoms, I was down no more, no sweating nights and even my skin felt clear. Could be attributed to the fact that with Amberen, I finally felt hope.
GOD send me Amberen.. I feel so much better in menopause… Thank you Amberen.. And thank you for blog.. So much I learn from it. Thank you…
Amberen, u saved my life
Menopause practically ate my wife
Now flashes and rashes are mostly gone
Just 2 doses a day, the effects last long
Mood swings only last a while,
I finally can see my wife smile!
Thank you article, for this wonder-drug
All fellow ‘menopause’ husbands… here’s a sympathy hug!
In my culture we CAN’T use any chemicals or artificial medicine. I was searching and searching for some way to handle my symptoms without. I saw in your article Amberen is fully NATURAL and ordered. I am so grateful to find a SOLUTION..
Such an interesting little blog, so glad I found it. I’ll tell all my friends about this one & I I’m sure I’ll revisit in the future.
i recommended your post to my aunt and she loved it! while my mom was lucky to escape menopause unscathed, her sister has been suffering the symptoms for almost 9 months now. and her periods, though irregular haven’t stopped. Finally She has found Amberen helps with periods too and is trying it.
Hello… My Name is Manoj Durai. My wife been suffering from menopause for quite a long term. Home made remedies don’t work all that much. I have been reading up so much on menopause to find a solution. I like your medicine very much. You have given all good points and it is fully natural. I will now try this for my wife!
Outstanding post, you have pointed out some great details , I besides think this s a very superb website.
You know doctors make the worst patients? Being a doc and laden with menopausal depression, I’ve been freakin out over every little symptom. With Amberen I found so much relief and was very impressed with how tested and proven it is. I trust Amberen even if I don’ trust m yself..
i like it very much that AMBEREN has free trial. Shows much confidence in their product. I really want to try for my mother. She is really suffering with sleeplessness and much sweating due to menopause.
amberen is working perfectly for me. since i have allergies, i’m scared to try new medicines. but this is all-natural and great!
I’m 53 and was doing pretty good on progesterone cream but decided to try Amberen. I went off the progesterone cream and began the Amberen and for the first 10 days had raging hot flashes and my mood dipped. I began taking the 2 doses per day just 2 days ago, and went from 2 hot flashes per hour…to 2 a DAY, and only ONE during the night compared to maybe a dozen! Fingers crossed, but I’m one happy camper thus far…hang in there and give it time.
How long does Amberen stay effective? I am 49 yrs old & just started about a week ago. I am wondering for how much time I should take this? It is working well. I forgot to take it one morning & immediately most of the symptoms started coming back. When I had it later in the day, Amberen gave such relief!
Nice post, very interesting topic.
Menozac works wonders for me but only on double dose. I tried it at first using single dose didn’t work for me that good.
have not had ANY hot flashes the past 2 days…this is unheard of for me.
still many years awy from menopause. nice to c someone cares enough to post so much info.i like it is all naturale. i should definitely go wth Amberen to make those terror years good for me
I’m 52 ‘n menopause was treatin me baad! couldn’t sleep ‘n hott flashes were more unbearable than eva’. Remifemin and Me Again dint help. Now i really want to thank the developers and scientists behind Amberen for ths wonder drug. I’m sleeping again, have my energy bac’ and days go by where i don’t have even 1 hot flash!
hello. My name’s shelly and i just recovered from lung cancer. Still having lot of medicines, I was scared to try Amberen without doctor recommendation. I called the Amberen hotline and they were very helpful in guiding me towards correct usage. Tahnks for the idea!
Hi i’m Shelly’s friend. Heard so much from her bout this article and how AMBEREN has helped her. SO now I have also ordered (thanks for the code) and will start my trial soon. Sure it will do great and great and good luck to all ‘Meno’ gals
I am 38 and years years away from menopause. Nice to collect information though, and i must admit from what i’ve read so far, i like amberen best! and when the bug hits me, this is my way to go..
Amberen is the absolute greatest! I had severe symptoms so I doubled the dosage and in 2 weeks there were NO hot flashes! It has been six months and there has been zero weight loss, but hey, no hot flashes and this one child is happy!
If only someone had written this post about ten years ago when I had a baad bad experience with menopause. Kudos to the writer for giving such comprehensive info!
I am 62 and Amberen helps me a lot with my concentration problems. You can just feel the difference. I had no same results with Menozac. I too looked all over the internet and found that using coupon code THX4OFF80 at VitaSprings.com is the best deal going out there. Even better than from the Amberen site!
Menozac did wonders with my heat waves I highly recommend it.
Amberen didnt work for me. I will say though, I didnt have any problems with a refund, THANK GOD! With what I’m reading here.. I’m giving Natural Relief a try. Thanks so much to all who contribute here, it’s such a blessing.
Here’s my story. I am now 51. I began having SEVERE, sleep disturbing night sweats on a fairly regular basis when I was 44. I tried every NATURAL product under the sun.
I started taking Menozac in March of 2010. Very few side effects, and almost TOTAL relief from all symptoms. I did the regular dosage.
I recommend Menozac to anyone suffering from hormone related issues.
Thanks for the sensible critique. Me and my neighbor were just preparing to do a little research on this. We got a grab a book from our area library but I think I learned more clear from this post. I am very glad to see such wonderful info being shared freely out there.
update: It’s been almost 3 weeks with no hot flashes for me. I am so thankful for Amberen!
What an excellent site – I’ve really enjoyed it. I have a couple of friends who have also tried Menozac & they are in love with it.
Don’t waste your money I used it for the first three months talked to the on line nurse who wasn’t helpful at all she said double the dose, did that it didn’t work reordered and its not the product for me, my hot flashes are more severe than before I started ambren if fact they are horrible now, before ambren I just took herbs and they worked better then the ambren also the nurse was so uncaring and she blamed it on the herbs I took before starting ambren well after spending my money which has been alot taking two pills and doubling up on the dosecan be expensive as im wiring this im having nite sweats which are unbearable, so to that I would say don’t waste your money I don’t think the products is worth the money
I heard the commercial this morning on the way into work. The tag line was more of losing weight. Getting your hormones back into line. That getting your hormones inline is the only way to lose weight. Of course it had more info than that….. but that was the main focus of the commercial. I am 46 and have the blood test for hormone levels – I am not premenausel nor is my thyroid off. I exercise 5 times a week and eat a healthy diet. But I still can not lose weight. Very frustrating. I am getting very tone though
. Mood swings are bad. What are the opinions of all about weight loss and or mood swings on Amebern? Thanks!
I have been taking Amberen for three weeks now – my husband, who finally has had it with my hot flashes and mood swings, ordered it for me. I was very skeptical and I never buy any remedies advertized on TV or radio. But since he went out of his way to help me out, I started taking it. The hot flashes and sweats were gone during the first week, so did the mood swings. I do not know what it will be like long term, but so far it has been absolutely great – after over a year of misery, I feel energized and can function normally. I see from this forum that it works for the majority of menopausal and pre-menopausal women, but not for everyone. To those of you who posted here “do not waste your money” comments – if if did not work for you, it does not mean it will not work for others.
I am 56 years old and have been having menopausal symptoms for over 10 years. Although the night sweats are gone, I still have problems with temperature. I have only about a 4 degree comfort zone (70 to 74 degrees). Anything hotter or cooler I am miserable. Luckily I never had mood swings but I went from having a high libido down to none. In addition, my uterine wall has thinned to the extent that intimacy is painful. I have seen a couple of items mentioning the length of time one has been going through menopause might be an issue so that is my question. For someone like me who has been going through menopause for well over 10 years, is there any product that could help? I would like to stop burning up all of the time (no longer flashes, more like living in an oven) and feel like I could get close to someone again.
Got to say Amberen didn’t work for me and I took it for 2 months. Menozac effected me from the beginning and it’s been 3 months now. Hot flashes are goen. Thank you Menozac!
I just started Amberen this week. I was hesitant because I had a complete hysterectomy 5 years ago. I’ve been dealing with all the menopause syptoms and was at the end of my rope. Especially the weight gain! Has anyone out there been using Amberen who’s had a complete hysterectomy and had positive results with weight loss?
What about us grannies over 60? Through menopause 10 years ago and now have no estrogen or testosterone. Prescribed both, now ovaries and breasts are sore. Would Amberen be suggested for me? I don’t have the other symptoms any more (sweats, sleeplessnes, irritability) just no libido due to the zero testosterone level and no estrogen. I do have thyroid desease for which I take medication. Would Amberen be indicated for me???
After taking Amberen for 3 weeks, I did notice a difference in my sleep and general well being, HOWEVER after not having a period for 6 months, my period came back. I am a bit concerned about this but in all honesty, I would much rather have a period than the symptoms I had prior to Amberen. My hot flashes were accompanied by a prickly, tingly feeling all over my body like needles and I’d take my period any day over that. Amberen has helped that symptom a lot. Thanks for the coupon code too!!!
Interesting. I am 60, hot flashes, sweats pretty much finished. Still have that brain fog, I go from too tired, or cannot sleep, nothing in between. Took Prempro. Wonder drug. Felt better immediately. Weight gain was immediate too. Stopped taking it for a couple months now, and I am back to not able to concentrate, vaginal thinning. Have been considering trying this. Anyone in a similar situation with info to share? Thanks!
I have read all of the above. Several women have asked if anyone has had positive results with weight loss. But everyone who mentioned weight loss also said the product was no help at all. My wife has a weight problem complicated by thyroid issues. Has anyone out there had any positive results in either of these areas?
What I like about Menozac is the fact that it contains only natural ingredients to help ease the multiple symptoms of menopause. In this way, you do not have to worry about harmful side effects.
I started Amberen 3 weeks ago. Noticed weight gain and bloating almost immediately. Hot flashes went from once every 2 – 3 hours to every hour on the hour and more intense. Night sweats did not reduce either. I have gained nearly 5 pounds since starting. I did the single dose at first with no results, so I moved up to the double dose with no change. I am also tired most of the time and wasn’t before starting Amberen. I have always worked out and kept a good weight and I’m very surprised this is happening now. I’m concerned this could cause other issues. I’ve used Nature’s Relief in the past and it helped for awhile, but after about a year or so, the symptoms got more intense.
ok i wish to understand something about this as i am not getting the right info.PLS HELP ME FRIENDS IF YOU KNOW MORE ON THIS. i need to clarify my understanding…….according to a research…”SEPTEMBER 2007
In our double-blind, placebo-controlled clinical study, 4-week Amberen treatment sharply INCREASED ESTRADIOL concentrations in the blood of menopausal women without any shifts in FSH and LH levels.”…..now from what i understand from the net, the succinate induces the hypothalamus to improve hormonal regulation along with other effects…….and from the above line,it raises estrogen……NOW ESTROGEN WHEN RISES UNCONTROLLED CAN LEAD TO ENDOMETRIAL HYPERPLASIA ie INCREASES IN ITS SIZE AND FINALLY ENDOMETRIAL CANCER …..SO WHAT I AM WONDERING HOW IS IT THAT THEY CLAIM, ANBEREN NOT HAVING HRT LIKE EFFECTS WHEN INFACT ESTROGEN IS RISING AND ITS THE ESTROGEN THAT CAUSES CANCER………….another doubt though nonmedical is about the name in which this company is registered when seen on the google map shows clear open space with no company (somewhere in LA)….help each other get to the bottom of this
I have wonderful results with Menozac and I highly recommend it. I can’t say the same about Amberen.
I had hot flashes and I ordered Menozac out of desperation because I couldn’t get an appt with my obgyn.
I take them for 2 weeks now about 8:00am in the morning they worked like a charm. No hot flashes whatsoever. I sleep like a baby.
Sorry, I gave Amberen a month and no relief from hot flashes and night sweats at all. I was so disappointed but not surprised.
I just started taking Amberen 8 days ago and can honestly tell you that I do feel a little better. Hopefully the longer I take it I should improve nicely!! Wish I would have caught this coupon code first, will use it next time, that’s for sure. I will keep you posted on my progress.
thanks to you I didnt waste my money
Thanks for the informative article. I have been wondering about Amberen. Menopause really stinks.
I had heard so much about Menozac that I had to give it a try. I was afraid it would be too good to be true. Well, it is such a wonderful product and the mood swings are gone.
I am 46…had an ovary removed when I was 15…no one told me for over 31 years that the ovaries are related to the Thyroid, and are related to the adrenal glands as well…hmmm…you think that might have been some important information…when one of the 3 is out of balance, it causes the other two to go a little wacky…I just found this out. Not one of my Dr’s or OBG’s told me anything about this for 31 YEARS…UGGHH!!!…now I am over 100 lbs overweight…deal with severe PMS, really bad body aches that feels like it goes to the bone, sometimes night sweats, moody, brain fog and fatique…all symptoms of the OAT Axis being out of wack…and I’ve been dealing with the severe stuff for over 10 years now and my weight just keeps climbing. My last Dr. I fired, she doesn’t know it, I just haven’t gone back…she said to me, ” all of my overweight patients have the same complaints”…really, so you treat us all the same without finding out if there is a problem…and did you notice THE 1 OVARY…did they not teach you about adrenals, ovaries and the thyroid? really? I am frustrated to say the least…I need to find a new Dr too. I just ordered Amberen…I read that it is not just for menopause…but for helping the body balance itself. I need balancing really bad…lol. I will be finding a Dr who deals with more natural ways to treat the body and researched more about things such as this. Unreal to me…it was in my charts and nobody made the connection. Wow. But they were all good to point out to me that I needed to loose weight…very good huh? I will try to come back and let you know how the amberen works for me…I am praying it is the answer to my prayers…we will see.
I too, suffer from menopause. I’ve done so much research on alternative products and decided to buy Menozac. It really improved my symptoms and I feel so much better now.
Menozac really works and I would recommend it to anyone that has tried other products like Amberen and have not achieved success.
Menozac is said to be a miracle drug for those who are seeking to relieve the symptoms of menopause without the risks of conventional hormone replacement therapy. Did wonders for me.
I don’t normally comment on blogs.. But nice post! I just bookmarked your site
I AM WONDERING WHY NO ONE HAS MENTIONED WEIGHT LOSS.. IN ADDITION TO THE OTHER SYMPTHOMS I AM HAVING TROUBLE LOSSING WEIGHT… I HAVE BEEN WORKING OUT 4-5 DAYS A WEEK FOR 7 MONTHS AND HAVE ONLY LOST 27 LBS… AMBERIN CLAIMS TO HELP YOU LOSE WEIGHT BUT NO ONE HAS MENTIONED IF THEY HAVE BEEN SUCCESSFUL WITH THAT
Wow! It seems as though many of you have tried Menozac and had very positive results with the product. That’s great. As long as us women can conquer those nasty symptoms of menopause… that’s all that matters. For those who have tried Amberen with no success or simply want to try Menozac due to the wonderful responses we are getting here.. I found their official website: http://www.trymenozac.com
I started amberen two weeks ago sooo… glad i did! I am getting my life back! So thank you.
I was taking Bio-identical hormone replacements, but I felt like a yoyo. I never felt balanced. I decided to give Amberen a try. I’ve been on it now for 2 weeks and the night sweats, mood swings (for the most part) and zero libido have all turned around for the better. I have more energy in the morning, a better mood overall, increased libido and zero sweats. I’m happy. No weight loss to claim, but that wasn’t my reason for purchasing Amberen.
I’d like to know how well Amberen has helped other women with regard to depression and weight loss. I am 53, haven’t had a period in two years and have frequent hot flashes. I was taking Lexapro for depression and I think it helped with the hot flashes too. Now I am taking nothing and am having lots of hot flashes and am feeling irritable and depresssed. I have on 25 pounds in the last few years. I don’t know if it’s because of menapause or the Lexapro I was taking. I have to do something soon! I am trying to decide between anti-depressants and Amberen and would appreciate some input.
I’m 52. My menopause experience is not bad – I was experiencing hot flashes though, and the best thing I found, that worked for me completely within a couple of days was Hyland’s homeopathic hot flash remedy. Boiron also has a really good hot flash care kit consisting of 3 homeopathic remedies: boiron hot flashes carekit
I’ve taken both with good result. My hot flashes/night sweats, such as they are, will disappear for months at a time after a few days of either one of these, with no side effects whatsoever, at less than 10 dollars for either one.
Haven’t tried Amberen – only looking into it because I’ve heard it advertised and even though I exercise daily and eat very well, I’m a bit overweight and can’t seem to lose it. Wondered if anybody had been helped with that problem.
is it okay to use amberen after a hysterectomy ? thanks. does it really help lose the belly fat ?
It’s actually a nice and useful piece of information. I am glad that you shared this helpful info with us. Please keep us up to date like this. Thanks for sharing.
I’ve suffered severe, debilitating hot flashes – especially night sweats. I won’t use HRTs not only because of the dangerous cancers associated with them, but they’re synthesized using pregnant mare (female horse) urine….it’s even in the products’ names: PREMARIN; PREMPRO are the two most widely used. I’m a horse lover/owner and I know that cathing a pregnant horse to catch the urine is cruel. They can’t run, play, roll, and lie down, which is what horses love to do (besided eat). Their foals are nothing more than bi-products which often go to slaughter, except the fillies which are raised for the same purpose. The constantly impregnated mares develop leg problems standing 24/7. The US just re-opened 3 previously closed horse slaughter plants thanks to the 9 million unwanted horses. I’ve enlightened several doctors about this issue and they’re shocked and disgusted. Enough of that – big pharma will probably now sue me for letting the ‘horse’ out of the barn. Anyhow, I haven’t yet tried Menozac or Amberen but the testimonies are impressive. I’ve had miraculous results from ESTROVEN Nightime. It started giving me relief within the first week. I also have insomniac and my nighttime ‘cocktail’ consist of Ambian, Estroven Nightime, Sleep MD, Benadryl, Magnesium, Chamomile, Melatonin, and Clonazapam. By now your thinking I could probably sedate a horse, but I have about a 10 minute window of opportunity that when the urge to sleep occurs I have to try to sleep right then or the opportunity passes and I’m wide awake again. That happens even after bailing 50 acres of hay from the time the dew burns off into nighttime. So, for the first time in 12 years, I actually experienced my first chill and had to put on a sweater. What a relief! So, for about $9/mo, Estroven Nightime, available OTC anywhere they sell vitamins, might be a good start. Good Luck, Ladies!
I have received an order from Amberen, but am not sure I want to begin a cycle. I had long, heavy periods prior to about 6 months ago. They have since been irrgular and light and in the past 3 months only one day of a light period. I would like to know how prevalent the return of menses is while using Amberen. I see only sporadic mention of this in the posts. I definitely would no trade hot flashes/night sweats for my horrible periods.
I have been taking Amberen since 11/30/11. Stopped it two weeks ago, overall did help in the beginning, but hot flashes returned. Now I have developed acute thrombocytopenia and I wanted to know if anyone else out there had the same thing happen to them.
I just got my first HRT scrip filled but b4 I try it, looked up the all natural alternative and found this site….thanks by the way. Sounds like there is alternatives for the hot flashes but haven’t heard much about the decreased libido. Those that have been taking Amberen can you please tell me if your sex drive came back? I really miss the intimacy and right now don’t want to be touched at all
I just ordered my first 90 day supply. I pray it works for me. I have one question for all you ladies that have been using the product. Have any of you lost any weight? I want this belly fat gone…. I’ve done everything and it won’t leave, I heard Amberen would help with that stubborn belly fat.
My question is about libido. Have you seen any improvement in that with the Amberen? I’m 52 and have been very lucky not to have very many hot flashes. Maybe one a night if that. Went 6mos without a period, then had 1 about 3 months ago. More upset about loss of interest in sex. Just don’t seem to think about it. Have always had satisfying sex life in past. Thanks for comments.
I highly recommend trying Amberen. I received immediate relief from hot flashes and mood swings with this product.
I am in my mid 40’s about 120lbs and only had to take the low dose. I did experience about a 4-5lb weight loss but it was very gradual and hardly noticeable until I got on the scales after 90 days. What I did notice was a reduction in water weight and bloating. I feel fabulous!
I am 8 weeks into the off cycle and the hot flashes are back. I am going to call the helpline and ask if it is absolutely necessary to wait the full 90 days.
Hi Renee
Didn’t see any difference at all, but I have to say I never had an issue with libido. You may get a better response by someone on the board here.
